Six months.

Ellie Grace,
Today you turned six months old. I almost get teary eyed thinking about this. Every month has been so bitter sweet for your dad and I, but this past one takes the cake. We were watching you jump in your jumperoo the other day and both got really sad. You are becoming such a little girl and it seems as if our baby is disappearing right before our eyes. Don't get us wrong, you makes us so incredibly proud especially because your personality is showing through but you are just growing up way too fast. This past month you have really started to change and develop into your own self. It is so fun to see who you are becoming and the sweet little girl that we have. We love you more than anything little girl.

Some things Ellie is doing this month:

• Makes an "ahh, ahh, ahh, ahh" noise when we pat her mouth. I will try and upload a video because it is the most adorable thing ever.
• Gets really excited to see mom and dad. Sometimes she just wants mom and dad.
• Gives kisses. Open mouthed of course.
• No more sucking of the thumb.
• Will scream just because she likes hearing her voice. She also makes this really high pitched yell.
• Loves to have her face blown on.
• Can sit in the tripod position for a good while.
• Loves every food we give her. I really hope this sticks and she is not a picky eater.
• Hates to be held to go to sleep. This is great except when you are doing things like, oh I don't know, flying on an airplane.
• Rolls, rolls, rolls all over the place.
• Speaking of rolls, you should see the ones on her legs.
• Loves her feet especially when they are in her mouth.
• Is the biggest charmer. If you look at her she will give you the biggest smiles.
• Started saying "da, da" a week ago. A.E. is so incredibly proud even though we are convinced she does not know what it means.
• Is so incredibly loved by everyone around her.

Head: 17 cm
Height: 26 1/2 inches (80th)
Weight: 18 lbs 15 ounces (80th I believe?)
Still our tall and skinny(? we laugh that she is considered skinny with all of her rolls) girl.
Hair: getting blonder and thicker by the day.
Eyes: prettiest shade of blue.
