4.

It has almost been 4 weeks since our 4 year anniversary. I am lame I know, but I tell you we have been so incredibly busy that we can barely find time to clean our house (TMI?). Anyway, to commemorate our 4 years I am going to dedicate four posts to our relationship. Our story is pretty funny and I think you will enjoy it. I will first document how we met (Keep in mind I am paraphrasing so I don't put you to sleep). Enjoy!

Me and AE met in January of 2006. I was dating a lot at the time. I had been dating a guy two weeks prior that was not good for me and I think everyone was relieved when we broke up. It was really hard on me and I was just wanting to be single and play for awhile. Needless to say I was kind of hesitant when AE walked into my work that night.

I was working at a store called the Silver Loft at the Gateway. We were supposed to be closed but for some reason I forgot to lock my door. I saw AE and his friend outside and thought they were cute but they looked like big dorks. When they ventured into my store we struck up conversation and they ended up walking me to my car. I ended up talking to him and his friend for four hours in the parking lot and thought they were really funny. They both got my number even though AE had no intentions of calling me (I told them I was eighteen and that about did it for him. To him I was way to young and he figured he would be wasting his time).

Anyway, four days pass and I hadn't thought anything about these two guys but then I got a random phone call. They had decided to take me out and had asked if I could bring a friend along. I asked who was going out with whom and they just kept saying that we would see how the date went. We went to California Pizza Kitchen and then up to his friends house to roast marshmallows. While we were walking to the car from CPK I grabbed AE's arm to steady my balance and figured why not go for this guy (he claims that is what did it for him that night).

********Side note******** while on the way to his friends house we stopped at a grocery store. The guys ran in and we thought it would be funny to move his truck while they were gone. That made AE super mad because no one ever drives his truck. He also claims this was a deciding factor to date me because I had enough guts to do that.********

So while at his friends house me and AE built a fort in the back of his truck and talked till two in the morning. We decided to go home but when he got to my apartment he ended up staying till 5:30. We talked about everything from favorites to me telling him I had a missionary out that came home in six weeks (did I mention that earlier?). He told me he would date me until he came home and then we would see what happened. I ended up writing the missionary a week later telling him it wasn't going to work out, for many reasons other than AE, but that is another story for another day.

While on our marathon date we both talked about how neither of us kiss on the first date but we both agreed that because it was the next day it could be counted as a second date. We ended up kissing when he left at 5:30 a.m. We were inseperable since that day and that is where I am leaving it tonight. Next post will be about our dating life which was amazing but we definitly had our ups and downs.

This was the fourth day we had hungout.

You found me! Thanks for the comment. And by the way, I don't think you have ever told me your husbands name, other than "my husband." So it is good to know that he now has a name :) See you at school tomorrow!
