Ellie's one year pictures

My friend Bev is so great!  She is alwasy willing to take pictures of Ellie for me when I ask.  She took pictures of Ellie when she turned one.  They turned out so great!

One of my best friends got married June 14.  I am so excited for her and love Dugan.  They are perfect for each other and you can tell they love each other so much.  Congrats Morgan and Dugan.  We love you guys.

2011 in Review

2011 was by far one of the most exciting years yet. Lets take a look at the exciting things that happened:

January

Announced we were pregnant and got great reactions.

February

Visited one of my best friends in Texas.

April

Found out we would be welcoming a daughter into our lives.

June

Traveled to Washington for family/friend time and babymoon trip. I finished my first year of teaching.

July

Spent another great fourth with family and also had many great baby showers.

August

A.E. graduated from the University of Utah and we witnessed my sister Ansley marry a great guy.

September

Celebrated five years of marriage and welcomed the most amazing little girl into our lives.

October

Went to some great Halloween parties.

November

Had a great Thanksgiving with my family. Ellie was blessed.

December

Had a great Christmas.

Friends.

This is Brooks. Him and Ellie are birthday friends. They aren't sure what to think about eachother yet. I am sure that will change.

I imagine their conversation went something like this:

Brooks: Girls are smelly. I am not going to even bother with you.

Ellie: Do you think my crosseyed look is sexy?

Ellie: What are you looking at Brooks?

Brooks: Mom, really? Why are you making me sit by her?

Brooks: Parents are SO embarrasing, making me put my arm around this girl.

Ellie: Can I put my head on your shoulder?

Brooks: I hate my life

Ellie: Thank you. Your shoulder is so comfortable.

Brooks: If I cry will you please get me away from her?

Ellie: My arm is really tasty.
